You can feel confident and reassured about my ability as a therapist. My industry-recognised qualification acknowledges I am trained to a high level in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I have extensive experience working as a CBT therapist, both privately and in the NHS, having worked with NHS Talking Therapies service for nine years (2019).

My aim is to help you identify, challenge and change your unhelpful beliefs and behaviours,  by providing a variety of proven and practical techniques.

I’m able to help organise and motivate you with enthusiasm and excellent communication skills.

My background

I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, with a Nursing degree followed by a Mental Health Nursing diploma. I’ve worked in both day hospitals and the community. I further developed my interest in CBT by gaining a Postgraduate diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Treatment at Reading University (2009). I also completed levels 1-3 in EMDR in 2018

I am also an appproved provider of CBT treatment for a number of health insurance companies such as BUPA, Nuffield Health, Cigna, Vitality Health, Simply Health and WPA.
